Professional golfer John Daly, known for his bold outfits on the course, is throwing his support behind GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
“That’s y I luv my friend @realDonaldTrump he’s not politics he’s business! It’s what our country needs #SuperTuesday,” the golfer tweeted Tuesday night, along with a picture of the two.

{mosads}Daly joins a host of other athletes who have endorsed Trump, including NASCAR drivers, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and former NBA player Dennis Rodman.
Trump has a long connection to golf. His courses have played host to numerous PGA, LPGA and Senior tour contests. Trump National Doral will host the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami, Fla., later this week. The candidate will be in attendance on Sunday, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
Trump, though, clashed with the PGA last year. The PGA canceled its annual Grand Slam of Golf tournament, which was supposed to be held at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles.
The tour decided to move the event after Trump made his controversial comments about illegal immigration. It later cancelled the event when it was unable to find a new venue in time.
