Sanders wants to debate Clinton in New York
Bernie Sanders worries that Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton won’t be willing to debate ahead of her home state’s April 19 primary in New York.
{mosads}”Yeah, I do have a little bit of a concern about that, but I would like to see a debate in New York state,” Sanders said in an interview on Sunday with Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
The two candidates haven’t met in a debate since earlier this month in Miami.
“I would hope very much that as we go into New York state, Secretary Clinton’s home state, that we will have a debate in New York City, upstate, wherever, on the important issues,” he said.
