GOP lawmaker hopes Trump endorsements double
A lawmaker backing Donald Trump for president says he hopes the number of Capitol Hill endorsements for the candidate doubles.
“I hope we can double our number this week … I think after next Tuesday, the sense of inevitability will be very real,” Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said in an interview with The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper.
{mosads}Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), who also backs Trump for president, said the the interest among lawmakers in his campaign is rising.
