Senator: Prevention measures must be part of opioid bill

The senator spearheading the effort to tackle opioid addiction tells The Hill that “prevention” measures need to be included in any legislation sent to President Obama.

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) tells The Hill’s Molly K. Hooper that making the link between prescription opioid use and heroin addiction also must be a high priority.
