Obama bops to Eminem in convention backstage video
President Obama can be seen bopping to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” at last week’s Democratic National Convention in a new video released by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Obama dances for a few seconds as others in the room laugh in the behind-the-scenes video that captures candid moments at the convention in Philadelphia.
{mosads}In one scene, Bill Clinton watches a video of Hillary Clinton speaking remotely from New York to the convention audience.
“Oh look, our friends in Chappaqua!” the former president exclaims, pointing out people in the shot with his wife to actress Meryl Streep, who is seated next to him.
Obama also jokes to Clinton in the video about saying there had never been a candidate more qualified to serve as president than Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee.
“Bill Clinton, I hope you don’t mind me saying she’s a little more qualified than you. I included myself in that category, so,” Obama jokes.
“I loved it,” Bill Clinton responded with a smile.
“I’m so proud,” he added of his wife after the president said he should be proud of her.
The video also follows Hillary Clinton as she walks out on stage to deafening roars from the audience and embraces Obama. Her campaign released the video on Thursday, Obama’s birthday.
