WATCH: Blackburn coy on future role with Trump admin
Trump transition team vice chairwoman Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is declining to say whether she may be part of the Trump administration next year.
{mosads}When asked about filling an open Senate seat or joining Trump’s administration, Blackburn said this is a situation “where speculation doesn’t serve you well.”
“We’ll wait and see what transpires.”
Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker (R) has been floated as a potential Trump pick for secretary of State. If he were to join the Trump administration, it would open up his Senate seat.
