The communications director for President-elect Donald Trump’s Inaugural Committee on Tuesday said the speech on Jan. 20 will be about “dreaming big” and “looking forward.”
When asked by CNN if Trump’s speech will be different from the one — from the same speechwriter — he gave last summer at the Republican National Convention, Boris Epshteyn said that he expects a positive address that communicates with all Americans.
“Another part of the speech was dreaming big, and not downsizing you dreams was part of that message as well, as has been the message since the election,” Epshteyn said.

“So I am expecting a great address, one that, again, talks to Americans about dreaming big, about making sure that we are a city on the hill one more time, and I am looking forward to it — strong address that talks to all Americans.”
When asked about what role Trump’s children will play in the inauguration, Epshteyn answered that there will be a specific role for them during the event.
“Well the family obviously is a huge part of the president-elect’s life and there will be a specific role for them, an important role, and we will be rolling out that information as time goes on,” he said.
