MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough sits next to Dem at Trump speech

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough attended President Trump’s address to Congress Tuesday night, sitting next to Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.).

Scarborough, a GOP congressman from 1995 to 2001, has slammed Trump on a near-daily basis on “Morning Joe,” calling him a “fake president” and saying Trump “won’t last all four years of his term.”

The president is expected to meet with Cummings, the ranking member of the Oversight Committee, next week. 

The two will discuss rising drug prices, according to Cummings, who has pushed for a White House meeting on the topic. 

“We’re working it out for next week sometime. I’m looking forward to it,” Cummings said Tuesday.
