Priebus: No bigger threat than North Korea

White House chief of staff Reince Priebus on Sunday said there is no bigger threat facing the United States than North Korea.

“The issue on the table is North Korea,” Priebus told ABC’s “This Week” when asked about a phone call between President Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

“There is nothing right now facing this country and facing the region that is a bigger threat than what’s happening in North Korea.”

{mosads}The White House chief of staff described the North Korean threat as “so serious that we need cooperation at some level with as many partners in the area as we can get to make sure that we have our ducks in a row.”

Tensions between the United States and North Korea have been mounting after Pyongyang this month conducted two failed ballistic missile tests.

Priebus denied to reveal details of the administration’s plan on Sunday, saying Trump will not release the plan to the media.

“The president is someone who’s made it very clear that he’s not going to telegraph his next move. He’s not going to put out the plan for North Korea in The New York Times or Washington Post.”
