Dem lawmaker: Hobby Lobby illegal artifact case is ‘proof karma is real’
Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that Hobby Lobby’s deal to turn over more than 5,000 ancient Iraqi artifacts to the Department of Justice is “proof karma is real.”

The arts-and-crafts company agreed to turn over 5,000 Iraqi artifacts that were purchased by the company’s president in 2010 for $1.6 million.
{mosads}The company will have to pay a $3 million fine in addition to turning over the smuggled goods.
Hobby Lobby famously gained national recognition for challenging the ObamaCare birth control mandate, a case the company won in front of the Supreme Court in 2014.
