Trump: Military plane crash in Mississippi ‘heartbreaking’
President Trump on Tuesday extended his condolences after a Marine Corps airplane crash Monday left 16 people dead.
“Marine Plane crash in Mississippi is heartbreaking,” Trump tweeted.
“Melania and I send our deepest condolences to all!”

{mosads}The plane crashed in LeFlore County, Miss.
County emergency management director Fred Randle said there were no survivors from the plane, according to CNN.
The U.S. Marine Corps posted on its Twitter account that the crash killed 16 service members.
The names of those killed are not yet being released so their loved ones can be notified, according to a press release from the Marine Corps.
“While the details of the incident are being investigated, our focus remains on providing the necessary resources and support to the family and friends of these service members as they go through this extremely difficult time,” the press release said.
Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke also extended his thoughts to the victims of the crash.
