Conservative political pundit and National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch took on The New York Times in a video posted by the NRA on Friday in which she says, “We’re coming for you.”
“We’re going to laser-focus on your so-called ‘honest pursuit of truth.’ In short, we’re coming for you,” Loesch said in the video. “Consider this a shot across your proverbial bow.”
In a tweet with the video, the NRA’s official TV outlet added that “one non-#fakenews story is not enough.” It is not clear which story the comment referred to. The video also refers to The Times as “fake news,” which is a phrase President Trump often uses to criticize mainstream media.

“We’ve had it with your constant protection of your Democrat overlords, your refusal to acknowledge any truth that upsets the fragile construct that you believe is real life,” Loesch told the Times in the video.
“And we’ve had it with your pretentious, tone-deaf assertion that you are in any way truth- or fact-based journalism,” Loesch continued.
It is not the first time the NRA has targeted a media outlet. Last month, The Washington Post was the subject of a NRA video accusing the newspaper of trying to take away gun rights.
And earlier this year, the NRA released a controversial recruitment video featuring Loesch attacking the media, Hollywood and other U.S. institutions.
“The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth,” Loesch said in the video.
