Security surrounding EPA administrator rising to unprecedented level: report
Security expenses at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are increasing to “an unprecedented level,” according to a report published by CNN.
The EPA is adding security personnel for its administrator, Scott Pruitt, the report said, citing more threats against him than individuals who held the Cabinet position in prior administrations.

A spokeswoman for the agency declined to comment when asked about the increased costs.
“We decline to comment on security measures taken months ago to protect the administrator,” Liz Bowman told CNN.
Last month, The Washington Post reported that the agency was placing EPA law enforcement officers on Pruitt’s protective duty, removing them from other work.
