The Obamas have appeared frequently alongside the 33-year-old royal. Last month, Prince Harry was on hand for the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago. And in September, the former president sat side by side with the prince at the Invictus Games in Toronto.
Obama also visited with Prince Harry in May at Kensington Palace, while in 2015, Michelle Obama was pictured having tea with him during a trip to Europe.
No word on whether the Obamas will snag an exclusive invitation to the next royal wedding, poised for spring 2018. A Kensington Palace spokeswoman told Newsweek that the focus is on “the happy announcement” of the couple’s engagement and invites will “be announce in due course.”
