The crowd at President Trump’s Friday night campaign rally broke into chants of “lock her up” after Trump mentioned Hillary Clinton.
While mocking protestors who call themselves “the resistance” against him, Trump took a jab at Clinton.
“Hillary resisted and you know what happened?” he said. “She lost the election in a landslide.”
{mosads}“You know what they’re really resisting,” Trump continued. “They’re resisting the will of the American people.”
The crowd then began chanting “lock her up,” echoing chants that were heard at Trump campaign rallies throughout the presidential election. The chant has reoccured at Trump events several times since he took office, typically after Trump takes a shot at his former opponent.
Friday’s rally in Pensacola, Fla. is Trump’s ninth rally since taking office, and puts Trump close to the Alabama border just days before the Alabama Senate race.
Trump has endorsed GOP candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of sexual misconduct or assault by multiple women who said he pursued them as teenagers.
