Trump: ‘I will be watching’ Army-Navy game
President Trump indicated Saturday that he would be watching the annual Army-Navy football game, praising the two military branches for their service.
“Have a great game today, @USArmy and @USNavy – I will be watching. We love our U.S. Military. On behalf of an entire Nation, THANK YOU for your sacrifice and service!” the president tweeted along with a promotional video for the game.

Trump attended the game last year as president-elect, where he supported both teams and praised them for their “spirit” in an appearance in the CBS News booth during the game.

While the president will not be attending the game this year, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary James Mattis and national security adviser H.R. McMaster are expected to be there, ABC News reported.
The annual game, a tradition dating back to 1890 that several former presidents have attended, features rival football teams from the U.S. Military Academy and U.S. Naval Academy and will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
