“Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade early Monday said the comments President Trump reportedly made referring to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as “shithole countries” were “unfortunate.”
“Bottom line is, unfortunate comments were exchanged behind closed doors,” Kilmeade said.
Still, he added that it’s necessary for lawmakers to negotiate to pass a budget.
{mosads}”And you can’t do that calling each other racist and denying comment,” he said.
Trump last week reportedly referred to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as “shithole countries” during a meeting at the White House.
He has faced widespread backlash for his comments, with some lawmakers referring to him as a racist.
