New Yorker’s new cover shows Trump ‘exposed’

A nude image of President Trump will grace the cover of next week’s issue of The New Yorker.

The magazine tweeted a preview of the cover on Friday, showing the president standing naked behind a lectern while fielding questions from the press.

“I wanted to address President Trump’s stormy relationship with the press,” the cover’s illustrator, Barry Blitt, said of his work

The New Yorker cover comes as Trump faces a scandal involving adult-film actress Stormy Daniels, who alleges that she had an affair with Trump more than a decade ago.

The White House has denied that Trump ever carried on an affair with the woman.

Daniels is suing to void a nondisclosure agreement that she claims prevents her from speaking publicly about the affair. She was paid $130,000 by Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, in the weeks before the 2016 election, which she says was intended to keep the alleged affair under wraps.

Cohen has acknowledged that he paid Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, but has insisted that it came from his personal funds and was not tied to the Trump campaign.

At the same time, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election appeared to move closer to Trump on Thursday when he subpoenaed documents from the Trump Organization, the president’s private business.
