Trump to hold press conference on omnibus bill at 1 pm
President Trump on Friday announced an afternoon news conference to discuss a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill, hours after he threatened to veto the measure.
“News conference at the White House concerning the Omnibus Spending Bill. 1:00 P.M.” Trump tweeted.

It was not immediately clear exactly who would be speaking at the news conference or what about the omnibus bill it would address.
But the announcement came hours after Trump suggested that he could veto the legislation over its failure to fund construction of his long-promised border wall and the fact that it does not address protections for beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
