Barack Obama wins the experience argument over Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) since the president acts largely as a legislator instead of only as a manager and since previous governors who became presidents have had trouble dealing with Congress, writes Transplanted Texan. Though John McCain may be ahead of Obama in the latest national tracking polls, his lead won’t mean too much if the increased support is coming from red states where he was underperforming yet was likely to win, writes Jonathan Singer.
