Obama to Air TV Ad on McCain’s Home Gaffe
Barack Obama’s campaign will start airing an ad nationwide on cable TV today hitting John McCain for being unsure of how many homes he owns, after a recent report claiming McCain said as much in an interview.
The ad tells viewers that McCain owns seven houses, while McCain’s campaign has said the Arizona Republican owns at least four. PolitiFact looked into the discrepancy and determined that McCain and his wife do own seven, but that Cindy McCain owns most of them.
In addition, the Obama campaign has mobilized supporters to hold events in 15 states to hold events discussing McCain’s gaffe.
