People from across Europe are arriving in Berlin to see Obama, who could be filling a leadership void and is definitely campaigning abroad, writes Mayhill Flower. Both Obama and John McCain have an opportunity to improve attitudes toward the United States among people in other countries and thereby improve the United States’ national security, writes Marty Kaplan.
