Police: Woman dressed as Rudolph robbed Colorado store
A woman disguised as Rudolph robbed a local business in Colorado last week, police said Sunday.
Police in Fort Collins, Colo., announced the crime with a video and a poem published on their Facebook page Sunday.
“Rudolph the Red Nosed Burglar had a very shady scheme,” they wrote in the poem. “And if you saw the video, it would want to make you scream.”
{mosads}”Oh how the camera caught her as she committed burglary,” the poem continues. “Rudolph the Red Nosed Criminal. We need your help with her I.D.”
The video shows the woman entering the store while wearing a Rudolph mask. She then began to place items from the store into a bag. At one point while inside the store, the woman briefly removed the mask.
The police said in the Facebook post that, “all kidding aside,” someone broke into a store in the early morning of Dec. 18 and “stole several items” while disguising herself “as one of Santa’s helpers.”
“If you have any info about this incident or know suspect’s identity, let us know so we can notify St. Nick,” police added.
