Think tank head joins the Twitter-verse

Newly-minted American Enterprise Institute President Arthur Brooks has joined Twitter, dropping a flurry of AEI promotion into the Twitter-verse.

Brooks tweeted today:

The tax increases will only affect the rich…so let’s just say more people are “rich.” http://tinyurl.com/dektq3 #TCOT

Last week, Brooks also talked up some of AEI’s work, and referenced seeing @NewtGingrich, one of the conservative think tank’s senior fellows, on a flight to Georgia.

Brooks isn’t the only think tank head to be on Twitter, though. Heritage Foundation President Ed Feulner has been on the microblogging site since December 8, 2008.
