Candace Owens getting own show on PragerU, Roseanne Barr one of first guests

Turning Point USA communications director Candace Owens will join PragerU’s online roster of content with a new show debuting on Sunday on the conservative educational site.

Owens’s show, billed as a weekly taped podcast, will release new episodes every Sunday on the website, including early episodes slated to feature Hollywood conservatives Roseanne Barr and Jon Voight.

“I’m rolling out the Candace Owens Show with @prageru and it’s going to be EXPLOSIVE!! Thank you to @jonvoight, @therealroseanne and countless others who have kept this secret project under wraps,” Owens tweeted Thursday.

{mosads}Barr made headlines last year when with racist comments about former White House aide Valerie Jarrett, resulting in the cancellation of ABC’s remake of “Roseanne,” which has since been rebranded as a spinoff series without Barr called “The Conners.”

PragerU, founded by right-leaning talk radio host Dennis Prager in 2009, hosts a variety of conservative-leaning video content on its website and YouTube channel.

Owens came under fire earlier this month for comments she made surrounding the launch of Turning Point’s chapter in the United Kingdom, Turning Point UK, when she told an audience of right-leaning activists that it would have been “fine” “[i]f [Adolf] Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well” when asked by an audience member about nationalism.

She later defended her remarks in a Twitter video that discussed how she said nationalism was unfairly linked to Hitler and Nazi Germany.

“Nationalism is sort of conflated with, for some reason, Hitler,” she said.

“That’s really, really wrong and we that we have to almost correct the record on that,” Owens added in the video.
