Ivanka Trump mourns dead in Ethiopian jet crash

Ivanka Trump mourned the dead from last month’s Ethiopian Airlines crash while visiting Addis Ababa on Monday.

The president’s daughter and senior adviser met with religious leaders and left a wreath at the Holy Trinity Cathedral for the 157 people who died in the crash.

{mosads}Boeing 737 Max jets were grounded worldwide following the incident in Ethiopia and another deadly crash months earlier in Indonesia.

Preliminary reports from the accidents suggest a technical issue involving the planes’ Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System software was a factor in both crashes.

While Boeing develops a software fix, major airlines in the U.S. have decided to ground the aircraft through August.
