Charles Barkley calls Taylor Swift haters ‘losers and ‘jackasses’

Basketball commentator and pundit Charles Barkley on Wednesday ripped conservatives who are attacking music icon Taylor Swift ahead of next Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Swift is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and has been the center of a conspiracy theory spreading across right-wing media that the NFL is rigging games to help the Chiefs and raise Swift’s profile so she can ultimately endorse President Biden.

“If you’re screaming at Taylor Swift saying she ruined … you’re just a loser. You’re just a loser or a jackass,” Barkley said on “King Charles,” the weekly show he hosts in prime time with anchor Gayle King. “You can be A or B. One of the two.”

Swift, who backed Biden in 2020, has not endorsed a candidate in the 2024 presidential race.

Kelce has also come under fire from conservatives for his promotion of vaccines and sponsorship deals with Bud Light.

With Swift planning to be in attendance, next week’s Super Bowl is expected to be the most widely watched in history.
