Trump blasts ‘Fake News Sunday Political Shows,’ touts economy
President Trump in an early morning tweet on Sunday blasted the “Fake News Sunday Political Shows” while touting the economy and other achievements.
“For all of the Fake News Sunday Political Shows, whose bias & dishonesty is greater than ever seen in our Country before, please inform your viewers that our Economy is setting records, with more people employed today than at any time in U.S. history,” Trump tweeted.

“Our Country is doing GREAT!” he concluded.

Trump did not specify what sparked his tweets, but they came after Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.), a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, on Saturday accused the president of “impeachable conduct” in a break with the GOP.
Amash, a frequent critic of the president, previously said he would not rule out seeking the Libertarian nomination for president in 2020.
Trump said in a tweet earlier this month that “you can’t impeach a president for creating the best economy in our country’s history.”
“Also, there are ‘No High Crimes & Misdemeanors,’ No Collusion, No Conspiracy, No Obstruction. ALL THE CRIMES ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE, and that’s what the Dems should be looking at, but they won’t. Nevertheless, the tables are turning!” he added.
His claim that the “tables are turning” came a few days after he called for an end to “costly & time consuming” Democratic investigations.
