DNC launches mobile billboard attacking Trump on health care ahead of Super Tuesday
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) launched a mobile billboard that will appear in North Carolina and Virginia Saturday, attacking former President Trump during his visits to the Super Tuesday states.
The mobile billboard, which was first shared with The Hill, argues that Trump is “coming for your healthcare” if he’s elected to another term.
“Medicaid expansion? Gone,” it reads. “Abortion? Banned nationwide.”
“IVF? Under attack,” it adds. “Trump-MAGA extremism. Bad for your health.”
The mobile billboard will be on a truck that circles in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday during the day, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and in Richmond, Virginia in the evening, from 5 to 8 p.m.— both as Trump, the likely GOP nominee, is holding rallies in the area.
Both North Carolina and Virginia are holding GOP primaries on Tuesday, when Trump will be on the ballot against primary challenger Nikki Haley. Haley will also be campaigning in North Carolina Saturday, holding a rally in Raleigh.
“Donald Trump is bad for your health. His extreme MAGA agenda includes ripping away health care coverage from millions, siding with greedy insurance companies over hardworking families, banning abortion nationwide, and taking away parents’ ability to grow their families with IVF,” DNC rapid response director Alex Floyd said.
In 2020, Trump won North Carolina with nearly 50 percent of the vote and President Biden won Virginia by over 54 percent.
