Trump touts new jobs in auto, tech sectors
President Trump is touting the announcements of new jobs in the auto and tech industries in the country.
The president applauded Navistar Inc., Apple, Hyundai Motor Group and Aptiv for creating jobs in the United States after each company announced its plans last week.
“That’s a lot of $$ and JOBS!” Trump tweeted in reference to Hyundai and Aptiv’s joint agreement to work on driverless car technology in the United States. “Great jobs coming back to America”

The companies plan to invest a total of $4 billion in the venture, which will be based in Boston, according to a joint press release from the companies.
{mosads}The president also praised Navistar for announcing its plans to construct a manufacturing facility for trucks expected to bring 600 jobs to the San Antonio area.

Trump also commended Apple for deciding to build its new Mac Pro in Austin, Texas.

The president has made job growth a central part of both of his presidential campaigns and has pushed for more domestic jobs throughout his presidency.
