Watch: Pro-Palestine protesters interrupt Biden at gun safety event
President Biden was interrupted on Tuesday by pro-Palestine protesters during his remarks at a conference organized by the gun violence prevention group, Everytown for Gun Safety.
About two minutes into his remarks in Washington, D.C., protesters yelled “stop committing genocide” and the crowd quickly drowned out the yells with boos and chants of “four more years.”
The president responded, “no, no, no” until the yelling stopped and added: “They care, innocent children have been lost.”
Biden has been interrupted and confronted by pro-Palestine protesters around the country over his Israel policy since the war began in October. The president notably responds to the protesters, often siding with their sentiment and appearing sympathetic to their concerns.
