Saagar Enjeti: ‘The only people who take Pete Buttigieg seriously are the media’

Hill.TV host Saagar Enjeti on Monday called out the media and political commentators who claim Pete Buttigieg’s victory in Iowa, shows he could win in a general election against President Donald Trump. 

Enjeti claimed Buttigieg’s success in several Iowa counties were the result of an “utter collapse of former Vice President Joe Biden and (Sen.) Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).”

Enjeti pointed to a tweet from pollster Nate Silver that read “in this Quinnipiac national poll 2 weeks ago, only 2% of voters said they thought Buttigieg had the best chance to defeat Trump, whereas 7% said that of Warren.”
