Ted Kennedy will miss sister Eunice Kennedy Shriver’s funeral
Due to his ongoing battle with brain cancer, Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) will not attend the funeral of his recently deceased sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
The AP reported that the senator’s wife Vicki will attend the invitation-only Hyannis funeral mass in his place on Friday.
Hundreds of mourners gathered outside the church before the service for Shriver, who died Tuesday at the age of 88, according to the report.
Vice President Joe Biden will also be in attendance at the 10 am service.
