I am an associate editor at The Hill focused on breaking and daily political news. In my work, I strive to holistically cover the intricacies of political decision-making while still equipping readers with digestible takeaways driving the news cycle.
Before joining The Hill, I worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the U.S. Senate and Global Situation Room. Originally from Minneapolis, I studied journalism and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I developed a strong interest in editing as well as education policy, political philanthropy and media. I am a proud alum of The Daily Cardinal student newspaper, where I was editor-in-chief. When not pitching stories or scrolling through X, I can be found going for long walks, attempting to read more fiction or watching reality TV.
