Mobile DNC billboard at Trump event to feature Harris crowd size jab

A mobile billboard from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) planned to debut outside of an event with former President Trump in Arizona will feature Vice President Harris’ recent jab at the former president about campaign rally crowd sizes.

According to an email from the DNC, the billboard will show a video with comments from Tuesday’s debate in which Harris took a swing at Trump over his rallies.

“I’m gonna invite you to attend one of Donald Trump’s rallies because it’s a really interesting thing to watch,” Harris said at the debate hosted by ABC News.

“He talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about windmills cause cancer,” she continued. “And what you will also notice is people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom. And I will tell you the one thing you will not hear him talk about, is you.”

Per the DNC, the billboard is set to be displayed around the Tuscon Music Hall between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. MDT.

“Donald Trump’s unpopular Project 2025 agenda will weaponize the federal government and give himself power to punish his political enemies and insert himself into our daily lives,” said DNC spokesperson Cameron Niven via email. “No matter what Trump rambles on about tonight, he will not be focused on the issues that matter to Arizonans. The only candidate in this race fighting for Arizonans and prepared to be a president for all Americans is Vice President Kamala Harris.”

Trump is set to deliver remarks about the economy and housing at the Tucson Music Hall on Thursday, according to his campaign website.

Harris was seen by many to have had a successful debate night on Tuesday, as 63 percent of registered voters in a CNN flash poll said the vice president performed better on the debate stage, while only about 37 percent said the same about Trump.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), however, said on Wednesday that Trump “clearly prevailed” in the debate.

“Well, I will tell you what, President Donald Trump is the reigning presidential debate champion, and even though the contest was three to one last night, he clearly prevailed,” Johnson said on FOX Business Network.

The Hill has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
