Watch: Biden celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with White House reception
President Biden hosted a reception in the East Room Wednesday in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 to honor the lives and achievements of Americans who share ancestry from a diverse group of countries on the Iberian Peninsula, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Independence days are marked in several of the countries, including Mexico, five Central American nations and Chile during mid-September.
