Watch: Trump rallies voters in North Carolina, one day after touring storm damage
Former President Trump campaigned in battleground North Carolina Tuesday evening, with just two weeks left to rally voters ahead of the election.
During the rally in Greensboro, N.C., the former president was expected to target his Democratic rival on rising prices, inflation and jobs, according to the campaign. It comes a day after the GOP nominee visited Asheville, N.C., to tour the devastation left by Hurricane Helene.
Trump, in his remarks Monday, attacked the federal response to the hurricane and repeated debunked claims about funding, while also criticizing North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D).
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls from the Tar Heel State show Trump with a razor-thin advantage over Vice President Harris — 48.9 percent to 48 percent.
The rally Tuesday was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EDT.
