Evander Holyfield proves he can wear a face mask, tags Mike Tyson
Former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield on Wednesday addressed jokes about his ability to wear a mask amid the coranvirus pandemic on Tuesday, donning a mask and tagging his old rival, Mike Tyson, in a video posted to Twitter.
Holyfield had been the subject of memes in recent days that depicted him with a surgical face mask hanging by one ear, with an image caption reading, “thanks a lot Mike Tyson.”
Tyson famously bit off part of Holyfield’s ear during a 1997 boxing match, for which Tyson was subsequently disqualified. Holyfield has since underwent reconstructive surgery to repair the damage.

Holyfield fired back Tuesday evening, declaring in a video: “They act like I only have one ear. I have two. Let me show you.”
