Fox’s Baier pushes back after Pirro says Biden might not be on Democratic ticket
Fox News’s Bret Baier pushed back at Jeanine Pirro after she suggested on air that Joe Biden will not be on the Democratic presidential ticket in November.
Pirro made the comments on Wednesday evening, less than 24 hours after Biden named Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as his running mate and a week before he is to accept his party’s nomination.
“Well, I have a lot of thoughts. The first thought I have is for some reason I just have this feeling that Joe Biden isn’t going to be on the ticket,” Pirro said. “I have a sense that something is going to happen before the election and he’s not even going to be on the ticket, so don’t even ask me if he’s going to make four years.”

Pirro offered no substantive explanation for her remarks, which were delivered on “The Five.” Former White House press secretary Dana Perino could be heard saying “oh man” as Pirro wrapped up her remarks.
Baier said Biden will be the Democratic nominee, pushing back hard at Pirro.
“Let me say I respect Judge Jeanine’s opinions and her fiery passions about things,” Baier later said when brought into the conversation. “Last night was the last Democratic primary, [in] Connecticut, where 60 delegates went to Joe Biden. So he is going to be the nominee and next week we will see the official nomination.
“You’re saying he doesn’t make it all the way. The bumper stickers are already printed. It is Biden-Harris. He is going to be the nominee next week,” he added.
President Trump’s campaign has sought to make Biden’s health a campaign issue, but Pirro said that was not her intention.
“I just want to say something,” Pirro said. “Look, I wish him all good health, that’s not what I’m talking about. He’s got the numbers. But things are so crazy right now. I don’t know what’s happening in the Democrat Party. That’s all I’m saying. I hope he lives forever, that’s not my point. I know he’s got the numbers.”
