America’s Agenda: Infrastructure

America needed to refresh its aging infrastructure prior to COVID-19. Now, there is added pressure on our existing digital infrastructure from citizens working, learning and educating at home full time. These unprecedented times have also made clear the need for an enhanced cybersecurity policy that solves systemic vulnerabilities in our energy, financial, and food infrastructures.

During COVID-19, supply chains, manufacturing, product continuity, and availability were severely disrupted. Can revitalizing our industries to meet those challenges be a source of jobs to get the economy moving? At the same time, how can we bring our physical infrastructure into the future and embrace options for increased safety and security by connecting them to smart, data-informed systems?

As voters head to the polls, they are considering the various infrastructure needs of the country, but also yearning for answers on how to bring the economy and jobs back. We will focus on how to rebalance America’s core assets to rebuild a national infrastructure that creates recurring returns and support for America’s foundational businesses.
