Ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen suggests he voted for Biden
Michael Cohen, former personal lawyer and “fixer” for President Trump, appears to have cast his ballot for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.).
Cohen on Tuesday morning posted a photo on Twitter of him holding up an “I voted!” sticker with the caption, “Guess what I did this morning…bright and early? #VOTE @JoeBiden @KamalaHarris #BidenHarris2020 #MeaCulpa #Disloyal.”

“Mea culpa” is Latin for “my fault,” and “disloyal” is a common description Cohen has used for himself since leaving Trump’s employ and the title of his tell-all book, “Disloyal: A Memoir.”
Cohen was once one of Trump’s most trusted allies, but in 2016 he admitted to paying off two women to keep quiet about affairs they had with Trump, according to the New York Daily News. In 2018, Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of tax evasion and campaign finance violations. He was released in early May in light of coronavirus fears and is now serving the rest of his sentence under house arrest.
Cohen has become a vocal critic of Trump since 2016. During a congressional hearing in 2019, Cohen said, “I regret the day I said ‘yes’ to Mr. Trump. I regret all the help and support I gave him along the way.”
In his book, released in September, Cohen describes the president as “a cheat, a liar, a fraud, a bully, a racist, a predator [and] a con man.”
