Poll: Plurality say relief bill will make no difference in speed of getting to normal

More voters say the recently passed relief bill will make no difference in getting the nation back to normal than think it will bring life back to normality faster, according to a new Hill-HarrisX poll.

Forty-seven percent of registered voters in the March 12-14 survey said the recently passed coronavirus relief package will make no difference in the speed of getting back to normalcy.

Forty-one percent said the bill will cause things to get back to normal faster while 12 percent said it would make it slower.

Sixty-two percent of Democrats said the recently passed bill will cause things to get back to normal faster.

Sixty-four percent of Republicans and 51 percent of independents said it makes no difference.

Last week, the Biden administration and Democratic lawmakers celebrated the passage of the $1.9 trillion relief package.

The most recent Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,818 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 1.85 percentage points.
