Kodak Black praises Trump after being granted clemency: He’s a ‘real one’
Kodak Black showered Donald Trump with praise in an interview with TMZ while discussing life after the former president commuted his prison sentence.
In a video posted to the site, the rapper, born Bill Kapri, said he and Trump see eye to eye.
“I’m a real one. Trump a real one,” Kodak Black said, adding that the two share the same astrological sign.
“We Geminis. His birthday’s two days after mine,” he added.
The rapper proudly showed off an autographed MAGA hat he received from Trump after the former president commuted his 46-month prison sentence. Kodak Black was imprisoned for making a false statement on a federal document.
“Trump know what’s up,” he said.
Kodak Black was one of 143 people Trump granted clemency to in January. The rapper was less than halfway through his sentence at the time.
Since getting out of prison, he has been busy writing new music. In the video, he called on Justin Bieber and Beyoncé to collaborate.
As noted by TMZ, Beyoncé was an avid supporter of President Biden during the 2020 election. On the eve of Election Day, the megastar posted a short video to Instagram encouraging her home state of Texas to vote while wearing a Biden-Harris face mask.
Bieber has spoken out against Trump in the past, calling on him to let migrant children out of holding cages at the border.
I want my friend out.. I appreciate you trying to help him. But while your at it @realDonaldTrump can you also let those kids out of cages?
