The United Nations featured a dinosaur in a video to highlight climate change, with the dinosaur telling humans to “save your species.”

“You’re headed for a climate disaster, and yet every year, governments spend hundreds of billions of public funds on fossil fuel subsidies. Imagine if we had spent hundreds of billions per year subsidizing giant meteors,” the dinosaur said, speaking at the United Nations’s General Assembly in New York.

The dinosaur said humans were “paying for the demise of your entire species.”

The video comes before the U.N. climate summit COP26, where countries gather to discuss climate goals and climate change, is set to begin.

President Biden is expected to make a speech at the summit that focuses on the executive actions he’s taken to combat climate change.

A recent U.N. report stated countries were not abiding by the goals set in the Paris climate agreement, an agreement the Trump administration left.

Biden has said greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. will be cut in half by 2030 as he will also be encouraging other countries to make climate goals.

“So here’s my wild idea: don’t choose extinction,” the dinosaur in the U.N. video says.
