I’m a breaking news reporter at The Hill, working to bring live updates to our audience in real time. Over the past four years, I’ve closely covered the Biden administration and members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. I accompanied the president to Normandy, France, for the 80th commemoration of D-Day and provided live coverage of the 75th NATO Summit here in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining The Hill, I served as assistant editor at the Afro-American while concurrently contributing to the White House team for Bloomberg. My articles have been featured in the Chicago Defender, Washington Informer and New York Amsterdam News among other outlets. 

I’m a graduate of Howard University where I studied journalism and excelled as editor-in-chief of The Hilltop. I’m originally from Charlotte, N.C., and a proud recipient of the state’s high school journalist of the year award.
