Bob Cusack

Editor-in-chief

I am editor-in-chief and in charge of all editorial departments at The Hill. I joined The Hill in 2003 as a health care reporter and was named managing editor a year later. In 2014, I was promoted to editor-in-chief.

Before The Hill, I was a reporter and editor for Inside Washington Publishers, covering the Labor Department and Department of Health and Human Services.

At The Hill, I work with a great team of journalists to produce smart and insightful content. I moderate high-profile events where we interview top lawmakers and Cabinet members. I regularly appear on TV and radio outlets as a non-partisan political analyst and have won six awards from the National Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists.

I was co-captain of our tennis team at Loyola University in Maryland and still play competitively. I grew up in Manhattan and acted in a number of plays in my parent’s off-off Broadway theater company. I’m a member of Screen Actors Guild and have appeared in dozens of commercials, feature films and television shows, including cameos in HBO’s “Veep” show and “Wonder Woman 1984.”
