I’m the assistant newsletter editor and help manage the curation, editing and distribution of most of The Hill’s daily newsletters, ranging from topics such as health care, defense and national security, energy and environment and more. In 2019, I joined The Hill as a copy editor before moving to the newsletter side in 2021.

Born and raised in West Virginia, I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in journalism from West Virginia University, as well as a masters in publishing from George Washington University. My passion for news editing culminated from a combination of a lifelong love for reading and my work at WVU’s student newspaper The Daily Athenaeum. 

I currently reside in Texas with my pup, Lucy, and in my free time I love to read, do puzzles and travel.
