I’m a part of The Hill’s breaking news team, where I cover politics and policy from Washington, D.C. Prior to joining The Hill, I worked as a Washington correspondent for The Connecticut Examiner, where I covered Congress, the Biden administration and The Supreme Court for a Connecticut audience.
I grew up in the Midwest and stayed in Indianapolis for college at Butler University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a minor in criminology. I received a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism where I specialized in politics, policy and foreign affairs reporting and was named a White House Correspondents’ Association scholar.
I’ve covered a variety of topics, including national security, higher education, food insecurity and more, and have interviewed numerous lawmakers and leaders nationwide.
