I am The Hill’s deputy managing editor. I arrived at The Hill from USA TODAY, where I was an editor in the Washington Bureau and helped lead USA TODAY’s fact-checking program. I have over 25 years of experience at community dailies and major metros, including serving as the top editor of the Asheville (NC) Citizen Times and stints at Chicago area newspapers. I have a journalism degree from Indiana University.
