Scott Brown headlining fundraiser for Guinta in New Hampshire

Scott Brown is headlining yet another New Hampshire fundraiser, continuing to fuel speculation about his intentions for 2014 and beyond.

According to The Union Leader, the former Massachusetts senator will appear at a Nov. 14 fundraiser for former Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), who is heading into a rematch with Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-N.H.) in one of this cycle’s top pickup opportunities for Republicans.

Tickets for the event run from $250 to $500 per person.

Brown has toyed with a potential Senate run in the Granite State for 2014, but has also left the door open to a presidential run in 2016 — and stops in early primary states like New Hampshire and Iowa have raised questions about his future political plans.

If he does decide to challenge Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) in 2014, Republicans believe he could put the seat into play. Shaheen is popular in her home state and holds up well in polling, but Republicans believe ObamaCare could be problematic for her.

Brown would draw significant funds and has proven himself to be an impressive campaigner, but running in New Hampshire would open him up to carpetbagger attacks that Democrats believe would cripple his campaign.
